Flow shows a field techs actionable outcome.

Looking at ways we could recreate and evolve the product design, I started my discovery process by referencing the existing information architecture and its workflow, always keeping in mind the user. Analyzing the application's inputs, functionality, and intended outcomes, provided me with a better understanding and context of the portal's operations.

Small sampling of the design system library created for First American.

Leveraging research, I defined opportunities to bring more attention to crucial functionality and began building a robust design system from the ground up. Setting this foundation early on helped ensure the project's consistent use of design language when sharing files.

Creating page layouts inspired by modular design concepts, we liked its ability to scale and communicate content. Approaching each page with a less is more mentality reduced the visual design noise and helped prioritize tasks.

Nearing the project’s completion, we created prototypes for user testing to analyze and refine our solutions by helping identify functionality contractors find helpful. Developing multiple flows, we were able to gain valuable insights that helped inform our designs and guide the project to its successful completion.
